- Sold at the harvest festival for several years, but have stopped for numerous reasons.

- I currently do not do any of the above but would be interested. As a new arrival to VT and starting this business, I'm open to the possibilities of networking!!

- I would donate some special pieces of lumber to Woodnet for a fundraising effort. Right now I'm on two other boards and my job is more than full time, so I can't help with volunteering or serving on the board right now.

- I would sell products at the gallery if I have them available. I may consider volunteering if I have Time available, but am pretty busy between working full time and trying to make furniture.

- I'm very active with Vermont Hand Crafters, and I participate in several Art and Fine Craft shows each year.

- Distance is a problem because we're 3 hours away from Stowe, in Vernon. But we could contribute some cutting boards for raffles or whatever.

- Don't know about photography equipment; might be benificial. Would ask, though, that my puzzles bel listed in catagory other than toys as most are more to look at rather than play with as many are very fragil.

- I plan to demonstrate spinning at a spinning wheel or on a drop spindle on the porch of Maple Wood Gallery sometimes this summer.

- I find the Vermont Woodnet website to be hard to read - the background contrasts poorly with the type.
I also find it difficult to get help - I have asked for assistance with FSC certification, but have gotten no response.
I do not recall seeing anything about quarterly meetings coming out in email notices.

- I did visit the Maple Wood Gallery website at some point and it was difficult to find my craft kits. They were located under crafts or gifts or something. I understand the difficulty, but I hoped that they could be shown twice such as to also be put under toys, for example. I realize that they don't fall into an easy category.

- I think membership costs should rise so most people pay $100 an increase to $125 for business members.

- My quibble with the new Maplewood Gallery website is that a website sales pitch catering to high-end customers needs high-end support at the brick and mortar level.It seems like the Gallery has taken a leap ahead of itself before becoming a solidly managed store .
I think the Gallery has terrific potential for all the participants( I donated $100.00 when times where hard last year )and hope it will become a viable local success.

- I don't receive newsletters very often and am not really familiar with either website & have only been to one meeting so it is hard for me to evaluate these things

- as a maker of furniture, i am waiting for the stowe gallery to become a place where people come to buy furniture. i think it is important that the person 'selling' the furniture is versed in handmade furniture and can convey to the customer why they should spend $4000 on a cabinet.

- The MapleWood Gallery wsebsite used to be better in that it offered more photos of the gallery as a whole and more photos of individual pieces in the Gallery.

- Woodnet might want to consider doing a monthly newsletter via e-mail... I would be happy to put a woodnet column for woodnet announcements in our monthly newsletter.
