Vermont WoodNet, Inc., a non-profit organization, was established in 2000 to address the needs of small-scale Vermont wood product businesses that produce "Vermont Made" products, by creating opportunities for joint manufacturing, joint marketing and increasing access to materials and services.

Mission Statement

The primary mission of Vermont WoodNet is to strengthen business opportunities for small-scale Vermont wood product businesses that produce “Vermont Made” products and to foster a commitment to the sustainability of the forest resources.

These are the things that people think about when considering Vermont Wood Products, and Vermont WoodNet members proudly live by:

• Craftsmanship is everything in wood products.  I buy Vermont wood products because I know that each one is carefully crafted rather than stamped out by some cookie cutter machine.
  
  
• Vermont wood products are made with an eye towards tradition and the values of days gone by.  Old time values of hard work and getting it right are important in how Vermont wood products are made.
