BRISTOL, VT- Exclusively Vermont Wood Products, LLC of Bristol, VT is excited to announce that they have developed a truly unique line of hardwood and softwood products for both wood manufacturers and consumers. Thomas Lathrop, owner and fifth generation lumberman, is very happy to give Vermont craftsmen and homeowners the valuable choice of having Vermont wood in their product or their homes.
This line offers affordable lumber and flooring products to choose from, complete with a chain of custody document that tracks exactly where and when the timber was supplied. Only sustainably harvested Vermont timber meets Lathrop’s criteria. The majority of the timber obtained comes from land that is enrolled in the Vermont Land Use forestry program, which indicates that the land is managed by a forest plan in accordance to the Vermont Dept. of Forests, Parks and Recreation and has a long-term production of forest products.
Exclusively Vermont Wood Products, LLC processes all of its Vermont timber right in Bristol, reserving precious fuel resources and guaranteeing the highest quality control. The opportunity to support Vermont jobs and its wood industry as a whole is very valuable for Vermont’s economy and environment and in turn is valuable to its consumers and wood manufacturers.
